BLACK STONE HOUSE IN THE PYRENEES
The stone house was renovated in the Pyrenees Spanish architectural studio CADAVAL & SOLÀ-MORALES. The project aims to upgrade the traditional stone house for these latitudes, with a view to bring life back into the old building. It proved to be quite strong, so the architects decided to build a second floor which, despite its modern appearance, perfectly fit into the historic district. At this level, there is no partitions and doors: everything as open as possible. With this interior is filled with light and seem very spacious.
On the second level is an open terrace, which in addition to the windows along the entire wall, allowing you to enjoy the beautiful views of the valley and mountains. Simply magical!
